Another one of those places that lets you know you're in Austin. Breakfast is similar to Kerbey Lane and the Omelettry with the atmosphere falling somewhere in between. They add seasonal dishes which are nice to look forward to, but it's a bummer when a particularly good one falls off the menu.

They don't short you on service, meal size, or coffee refills. Be careful what you order because you may end up taking half of it togo.

I'm so bummed. I used to absolutely love this place and my brother and I would make it our weekly brunch/lunch joint. However, the past 5 or 6 times I've gone I've noticed it's gradual demise. The service has pretty much gone to crap, the food isn't as good as it used to be, and they've totally gotten rid of the best items on the menu. I'm hoping this is just a temporary thing, but until things get better, Kirby Lane will remain my new breakfast food of choice.

Local diner open 24-hours a day. Serves great food to a cross-section of Austin. Their Gingerbread pancakes are the best.
