French toast is excellent!! They use fresh Hatch Chili on their breakfast burritos and tamales and eggs. Some Sundays Ben makes biscuits and gravy, which is also awesome. Doreen's fruit pies are homemade and delicious. The coffee is always really good--maybe it's the local water! Best of all, there is always local color at this cafe--from the artifacts on the wall to the locals sitting at the table next to you discussing everything from the weather to world events. Don't miss this place!

This cafe has the best coffee and the best menu I've ever seen. Specialty is Southwestern dishes, including tamales & eggs, enchiladas, huevos rancheros, quesidillas etc. You can't go wrong with either the red or green chile. Also of note the omlettes and the home made spicy sausage. If you're lucky you may hit a Sunday when the cook(a world class grump) decides to do biscuits & gravy. Also the decor is authentic western down to the autographed picture of Audie Murphy. This place is what you hope to find when you decide to try that little out of the way place.
