The inside is not the prettiest but the service is fast and the food is cheap. They have pretty typical diner fair so don't go expecting to find a gourmet breakfast. One thing that stands out on their menu is they offer about a dozen different types of pancakes.

Probably the WORST breakfast place I've ever been to. Service is crappy and the food is crappier. I didn't think it was possible to be confused over what a sausage is, but when I asked for some I got mini hot dogs. I tried to return them but they said they wouldn't since they were already made....that's after I waited forever to get them in the first place. Anyone whose eaten at a real diner knows that Jack and Benny's is a pathetic imitation.

the belly buster is large and the taste is the way to start a day. the atmophere is all home style and welcomes all. the best by far in columbus.

Overall a great place. Very cozy diner-like feel. The food was great. Tried the chorizo burrito and the buckeye pancakes, which were both excellent. The coffee-refilling was amazingly frequent. Overall a great little diner

I think this place is amazing and just because you get asked to leave doesnt mean you should not come back (what a baby). At high classy places they put a TIMER on your table and when it beeps you have to get out! At least they wait till you are done eating! Sorry but your a sore loser and will be missing out on the best service and breakfast in ohio and possibly the nation (no joke).
However, its sad because they cannot keep any staff member for more than a about five weeks. They fire ones who have worked there for about 6 years and its sad because they defently make the resturant. The little boy there was priceless and cute as a button and his sisters waited on me, watch out for the little girl because if she waits on you she will kick you out (now you know not to get her). The family is great, but a lot of fighting between the cooks and its kind of funny to watch because they just yell in spanish and he is so rediculos. Overall it is a great place to be. I wish they had there old staff back because its kinda not the same enviroment with out them, oh well. GREAT CHOCO PANCAKES!

We were treated fine until they asked us to leave because we were "taking up the table and there was a wait". I have tried for a week to contact the owner and have gotten no responses yet. Never again! And the coffee is consistantly weak and the pancakes gummy.

Este es un lugar maravilloso......Una espansion de las galerias del Futbol Americano un Templo de la OSU.

Vi en persona a muchos jugadores incluso al famoso coach de la OSU.

Bruce es visto a menudo al igual que Tressel si Woody viviera el seria un magnifico concurrente como lo hacia en el lugar next doar Garcia's....Otra cuna la cual vuelve a tomar vida despues de que los Garcia's cerraran sus puertas por un buen tiempo.

Pero Todo murio en el centro de la Ciudad de Columbus y hoy revive en el antiguo Norte.

Jack and Bennys sigue vivo y su nombre sigue grabado en esta comunidad. Gracias a la famila Garcia's von Lembcke.

I live not more than 3 blocks away from this place, so I get breakfast here at LEAST once a week! I usually stick to my favorite, the Chorizo Scramble (BEST CHORIZO IN COLUMBUS by the way) but I have been known to wander around the menu. Excellent service, speedy, genuine and eager to please.

This little breakfast place has super quicky service and the best pankcakes around and so many to pick from too. You'll have to try it when you want a great breakfast & friendly quicky service.

I love this place. I too only got onto this site to find some new breakfast ideas but I just have to say that Jack and Bennys is wonderful. Though you have to pay for everything individually its definitly worth it.

i love Jack and Benny's it is way better than First Watch and Bob Evans!!!! It is always nice to see a cute little boy with a JB's hat on. The waiters are so kind and funny, and i love the food.

Spanish omelet, with hash browns. Mix 'em up together, tasty....
Love it, my boyfriend calls me a breakfast snob. This is my favorite, I actually came to this site to try to find some good breakfast places, or else I'd go to Jack and Benny's all the time.

2 words: Gut Buster...

Highly recommend getting the egg done sunny side up. When the yolk busts, you won't know what to do with yourself.

I will eat 2 this Saturday morning after getting TERRIBLE @ 5:30am

The place is great. I love breakfast in general and enjoy many places. I just think this one is the best in Columbus. Be it before a Buckeye home game or just on your way to work or class, I try to get there at least once a week.

I am a fan of the Huevos Rancheros and the Buckeye pancakes. The service is effective and super friendly. The cooks look professional and clean. The overall place seems clean and warm.

This is my first review, however I know my breakfast food and this place is great! Whenever my father comes to visit me on campus there is no question about where he takes us all for breakfast. Regretably thats the only time I get to go. Its a little far from campus but I decided that its so good that I have to move those extra 9 blocks north of campus just so I can eat there on my way to class. Might I suggest you get the chocolate chip pancakes or the Jalepeno omlette. You know after writing this I might have to walk up there tomorrow morning.

I have only been here twice. Both times I found parking to be a HUGE problem, whether it was for my car or for my behind. The place is always busy. I recommend the apple and Swiss cheese omelet. The food is a little on the greasy side but yet very cheap. Coffee is good, too.

Amazing breakfasts at a great price. The seating is booths along one wall and then about 10 spots at the counter.

The staff is always friendly and once you are seated the service is fast. Get there early if you don't want to wait for a seat.

I recommend the Chorizo Scramble or the Gut Buster.
