Large clean restaurant.
The protein pancakes are outstanding.
I've had a variety of omelettes and scrambles here and I really like them all.
It can be crowded on the weekend.
I haven't experienced the issues with the wait staff that others have suggested. I often "individualize" my order and there has never been an issue, although there will sometimes be a charge depending on the modification.
The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big.

Protein pancakes are awesome but the service is pretty bad. The servers are never around and don't check in on you hardly at all. Most of them (with a few exceptions) are unfriendly and seem annoyed at the slighest modification to a dish. The Good Egg as much better service, has more locations and are always friendly.

While the food at US Egg tastes great, the staff (including the manager) was VERY unacommodating with regards to customizing a dish for a particular diet. We simply wanted to order a Triple Play and instead of any meats in our eggs, get some avocado or veggies. The waitress stared at us like we were speaking another language and had to call the manager over, who said, absolutely not. Our computers are not set up to do that -- i didn't know computers cooked our food. Wow. this restaurant is more technologically advanced than I thought. I mean, first to get only 7 grams of carbs into those HUGE protein pancakes, and now to have computers cook our food - yes, for you slow people, I'm being sarcastic. As for the protein pancakes - there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY these things have only 7 grams of carbs (digestible, net, total or otherwise). The granola, blueberries and almonds ALONE add up to more than 7 grams of carbs any day, and that's not even counting the batter with which they make these things. They are the size of a dinner plate and you get TWO. You can BET you're getting at LEAST 75g of carbs total if not more. I do believe the 7g of protein in each one. Protein pancakes they most certainly are not - no matter what they instruct the wait staff to tell the customers. overall - the food was delicious, but I would probably not go back just because of the way we were treated when we asked for veggies instead of ham. Even DENNY's would make that kind of substitution for you.

I was expecting a wonderful breakfast from a restaurant called U.S. Egg. At the very least you would expect the eggs to be great, my soft scrabbled eggs were almost fried and did not taste like real egg. I ordered the biscuit and gravy breakfast and thought the entire breakfast was just okay. It tasted like a breakfast you would get at any chain restaurant. For the price, I did not think it was worth it. The hot chocolate was delicious though. My husband had the create-your- own omelet and rated it and the potatoes a 3.5. I thought the potatoes were boring and plain and ate only a few of them, which is very rare for me and potatoes. I did ask the waitress about their specialty and she said the protein pancakes were being patented. Service was friendly and prompt.

Good coffee. Service and food are excellent. Very popular with local tradesmen. This is a very big place open for breakfast and lunch. There was no waiting to be seated even though they were busy. Food portions are good. You will not go away hungry.
