The service was terrible... seriously must have been a bad day because they all seemed so cranky. I expected a wonderful breakfast after a very long drive. The food was cold! Very poorly made... and the price just wasn't worth it. We didn't go back... luckily found a better breakfast place.

My momma always told me that if you didn't have anything nice to say then you shouldn't say anything at all. So I will keep my comments to myself. Although now you can't say you weren't warned.

Lets just say we wont be back! When I am on vacation my favorite splurge is eating an awesome breakfast. I was extremely disappointed. This restaurant pretty much slops it on the plate and sends it out. Low quality food and high prices. I will say the waitress seem friendly, they would do better money wise I am sure if they seeked employment elsewhere.

Unfortunately this is the only place to eat breakfast right in Buxton. Next time we will surely take the time and head south to Hatteras.
The only thing good I can say is that they kept our coffee cups full, other then that nothing good came of this meal!

I had a cheese omellette with potatoes. The omelettes were pretty much a luke warm gooey mess. The potatoes are frozen nuggets that they deep fry - nothing homemade :(

My friend had the buffet and was very disappointed. She said the bacon was basicly all fat and the scrambled eggs had sat too long.

We will not go back!

Diamond Shoals has such a wonderful aura about itself. The food is tremendous. Their pecan pancakes are delicious, plus the size of the pancakes is incredible--only the fishermen can eat the whole thing! The servers delight in their Southern hospitality and treat you with respect. Service is fast and friendly. This place leaves a giant basket of butter, peanut butter and jelly on the table, so your breakfast necessities are only an arm's length away! The best part is viewing the giant fish tank in the gift shop and admiring the nautical scenery adorning the walls. Clearly, my favorite place for breakfast ever!
