Not a bad place to eat, good prices and nice sized portions. It seems to have a new owner trying to increase popularity, the old owners seemed to let the place go. Other than that its great place to go especially now with the economy being slow. Best bet would be check it out on your own.

Grandy's is a large family-style restaurant that also has a bar. I would classify the food as 'truck stop plus'. It was defintely truck stop fare, but prepared very nicely. The portions were more than adequate, there was no problem getting more hot water for the two tea drinkers at the table, and plenty of coffee refills. I had the special of two sausage patties with two eggs and potatoes and it was NOT dripping in grease, and my eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were grilled just right. My son's waffle was huge and actually had good flavor and was served with maple syrup not some corn syrup imitation. My husband ordered a ham steak and it was enormous. Service was a bit slow, but understandably so; our poor waitress was the only one in our very busy section. The busboy sort of just loitered in the shadows trying to look busy and didn't help at all. I made sure we left the waitress a good tip for all her hard work. Overall, a very pleasant meal very reasonably priced.
