This placeis now the Saratoga Diner, and compared to the drab old "Spa City Diner," this place is spectacular. Friendly faces, and great food at a fair price. The Saratoga Omelette is the BEST!!! Oh yeah, and so are the home fries.

I grew up in Saratoga and going to Spa City Diner was always a treat. However in recent years, they got rid of the horse on top of the diner (which had to be of historical value), they renovated it (it looks okay but does not have the ambiance it had) and the staff got decidely unfriendly and at times, nasty. Nothing like spending your money to get treated so shabbily! If people there hate their jobs, they should leave. But then again, it starts with management. Maybe they treat their people so bad that they in turn treat the customers like crap. It is truly a shame that they do not vaue their customers anymore.

I have been to the diner 7 times in the past year and every time I had to send my meal back to be heated ! not only was this a problem but the staff just seemed to take forever to bring my meal back and were quite rude as well!!
however when properly heated and returned the "GREEK" menu items that I had selected were quite eadible so if you have some extra time to spend waiting for your meal then this is the place for YOU!

I believe that Spa City is now called the Saratoga Diner...Either way, the price is right and the food is excellent!

The food is pretty good for a diner. They have this bouncy ball machine right in the restaurant but they don't want you to bounce the balls once you buy them.
