Great old-school diner with counter or both service. Great casual diner-type breakfasts. This place is worth seeking out.

I recently moved to Denver and was referred to Davies. I just love it. Best breakfast in town and people are so friendly. Family-like atmosphere.

I moved away from Denver 5 years ago and I miss Davies SOOOOOO MUCH! Awesome food, awesome prices, awesome atmosphere. Everyone needs to check this place out!

I love this place. When I came to Denver on visit this was one of the places I ate. It is by far the best diner experience I have had. People are nice, food is good, and the atmosphere is great.

I started coming to Davie's almost twenty years ago with my father, and it's been a landmark on W. Colfax for decades before my time. It's a national historic site because it's one of the last actual diners (made from a railroad diner car) west of the Missippi! It's also the only place I've ever been that actually stays true to the atmosphere and prices of a real diner. The Steak & Eggs has risen in price from $2.95 to $3.95 since the mid-80s, which doesn't even keep pace with inflation!

I just wanted to make sure that these guys recieved some type of recognition. They have got to have the cheapest steak and egg breakfast ever. At least I have never seen steak and eggs for cheaper then 3.95. The service is always nice and the food is pretty good also. It is also a historical landmark because they have been around for such a long time.
