By far, the worst experience I have ever had! (I'm 29). On 4/20/08, my boyfriend and I went to eat breakfast at Cafedefrance, www.cafedefrancerestaurant.com, and after we were seated, we ordered drinks and our food then waited almost 15 minutes for our drinks. I joked the first time about getting some water before my cappuccino, and then my boyfriend had to ask again. After drinking my first glass of water, they finally brought the cappuccino, maybe they had to fly in some coffee beans? After sitting for nearly an hour and watching other customers sit, eat, and leave - we asked the hostess why it was taking so long. She said they were just slow that day and she would check. She came back to say it would be 5 more minutes. After about 8 minutes, we decided to go to TJI fridays for lunch since it was already lunch time. We told the manager and he said he would check on it and get our bill. The waitress returned, gave us a bill for our drinks and said sorry - we left. The manager NEVER came to apologize, we never got our food, AND they didn't flinch when we paid for the bill. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

Good semi-euro breakfast; nothing really special, but good; fruit was very fresh, nice; breakfast ALL DAY, yeah; good service; comfortable; good choice of seats for late breakfast pre-lunch unless they get a lot more patrons

I have to disagree with the very bitter comments by "anonymous". Cafe de France has the best selection of omlettes in town and every one I have had has been wonderful. They also offer fresh squeezed grapefruit juice so I don't understand how you can complain that it tasted too sweet. Furthermore, their bread is authentic french baguets, which are hard on the outside and "doughy" in the middle, always served hot and fresh from the oven. I eat there often and have never had a bad experience. Anonomous sounds like a bitter individual who just had a bad day. Get a life!

Service was very slow. Plate was dirty. French bread was doughy, though warm. Grapefruit juice tasted like sugar water. Omelettes were bland. Our waitress apologized for the delay, saying they were very backed up, so that accounts for the slow service, but not for the other problems. Next time we will try breakfast next door at the Original Pancake House. Can't be any worse.

I go to Cafe de France regularly. They have the most extensive menu choices in town and the lowest prices. They use quality ingrdients (not that liquid egg stuff or boxed potatoes), real eggs and potatoes. The waitress, Tiffany is awesome, very efficient. The dining room and restrooms are always spotless and the overall ambiance is terric, very relaxing. The coffee quality is above average and reasonably priced.
