i posted here before..but for some reason my post has disappeared..so i'll post again...i know that this is a breakfast site..but they may as well serve breakfast here..the food is as bad as the chester diner..and i agree the management doesn't seem to care..i think it is better to own one really good restaurant than 4 mediocre ones...with no other choices in these two towns ..the opening of the public house will be very welcome..as far as bashing a restaurant on this site..it is our opinion..and if i am going to spend my money ..i have the right to my opinion...that is why there are more flavors of ice cream than vanilla....p.s. another restaurant will be opening in the new shopping center on rte 24..read it in the daily record..so now we can at least have something to look forward to .. by the way i rated it as best breakfast bargain..(because they don't have one)

Caruso's recently changed hands in ownership. anything anyone complained about below me has changed. i was just there for dinner today for the first time since the new owners and i love it ten times better. there is all new waiting staff and there is a new pizza guy. the service was much better and the food was a tad bit better since i was there last time. i got a chance to talk to the new owner and he is an experienced restuaranteer for over 25 years. i wish Caruso's the best of luck. whoever disses this place doesn't really know about restaurants

it is a lucky thing for these owners that they have a monoploy of restaurants in these two towns...saying that..it has become the lesser of two evils..caruso's opening has surely lowered the standard of their already substandard diner... (some people grow too big too fast and tend to mess it all up)..well guys congradulations..you did it...happily they are reopening thr public house...maybe then ..the owners will put a little more effort into their ventures...

We were there this weekend and we're glad Chester Diner has taken this losing place and made it work. Chester Diner is one of the best diners in the area and now we don't have to travel as far for good diner fare.

It is quite a bit more expensive, though, but it's worth it because it's a nicer place.

I'm a resident of L.V. and proponent of good local business. You say you spent over $100 for 2 adults and 2 small kids, no drinks. How is that possible? The most expensive entree is 24 or so, which is the filet mignon. Most of the meals are in the low teens, or lower. If the two adults had the filet, that's 48. How is it possible that the kids had over 50 worth of food!!
The food on the menu is very good, and the value is incredible. Every weekend they have a huge wait at the door and the people are waiting instead of leaving. What do you have against this place? We love it, and the people there treat us very well. And your comment about being affiliated, no, we are not. This is a spot that never made it in the past, and now that a good, reputable place is making it, you seem to have a problem. This place is getting repeat customers as well as new customers. I was there today, and saw so many people coming up to the manager, owner, whatever, and contratulating him on the success and thanking him for the wonderful food and service, You need to keep your table at Applebees or McDonalds.
