All around great place. Lots of business at lunch, cozy at dinner.
Had some great French and Italian influenced food there and really well priced wines.
I agree too, brunch rocks.

I have eaten here 6 times and had a good experience once. I kept hearing good things about the Tin Angel, but I must just be unlucky there.
The food is incredibly inconsistent, and the service is bad. I've had a waiter spill a glass of water on me, but the real last straw was this incident that happened in July:
I had a completely overcooked steak that I brought to the waitress's attention, and she said it would be a long time to get another one. Okay, that's a little weird. But instead of taking my plate away and bringing a refreshed plate out when the steak was ready, she left my side items there to get cold while I was unsure if I should eat them or wait for new ones.
Sure enough, she just brought out a lone piece of steak and no fresh side items. My sides were cold, my steak was horrible - very chewy, and I was completley disappointed. Maybe I wouldn't have been so upset if I wasn't eating there for my anniversary. I doubt if I will ever go back.

The Tin Angel serves a fine Sunday brunch. The service is friendly and the bloody marys are great. Try the angel wings, green apple, carmelized onion, and brie quesedillas, for an appetizer. The eggs benedict are very good and the bacon, fried green tomato, and avocado sandwich rocks. They used to serve these incredible crawfish and potato croquettes, two to an order, each topped with a poached egg and spicy hollandaise. They have been off the menu for 2 years, but I still wake up craving them in the middle of the night.
