I absolutley love this place.! Their bagels are amazing and affordable. The coffee is always fresh being everytime i go there, the girls are always changing the beans. The coffee cakes and black and white cookies are so gooooood. The employees are so respectful and nice to me. And they dont have old farts ..there all pretty young teenagers. SO have fun at bagel lovers !

My husband and I went to this bagel store one morning. We were new to the area so we were trying to find a bagel store. When it was our turn to order the employee who just finished making someone elses bagel and touched their money asked us what we wanted to order. Thinking they were going to change their gloves we told them our order. We realized after the fact that they never changed their gloves and then proceeded to make our food. We actually sat down and just drank our drinks because we new they were sealed. This is a total health hazard. We are planning to call the Health Inspector to go in there and check the situation out. Not only did that happen to us, we were then sitting down and was watching one of the employee's mop the floor, change the garbage and us a dirty towel to wipe down the counters. Then a customer came in and then they took the order and prepared it using the same gloves. My husband I were so disgusted that we got up and threw out our food and left. My thought is if you are going to eat here make sure you are in great health to fight off any bacteria that you are about to eat.

I used to work at this location and nothing has changed! The boss's son now runs it and the scum they find off the side of the street that work there are incompetent of taking orders. The prices are outlandish. How they stay in business is that each bagel they get shipped to them frozen cost 2 cents and they jack the price up as well as the size by proofing the bagels so air puffs them up in size and appeal. The bagels are kept in the back after they finish baking and brought out when the supply is low as they stop baking at 10 am so if you go in later in the day your getting 5 -7 hour old bagels that you are tricked into thinking that they are fresh. 1 worker at all point of time has completed the serve safe course but the fact that these people are handling food that is dangerous they should all have the certificate. The pastry's are only fresh after they run out otherwise the cookies stay in there until sold and are never rotated. The salads are left out when made behind the ovens so it is hot and keeps the mac salad and any other salad in the danger zone. The owner will scold any employee at any time even though they work there half on the books and half off the books paid by cash only with no receipts. just a calculator paper adding your hours work. At one time they had two 13 year olds making the bagels in the back and paying them 6 dollars an hour. Horray a whistle blower in the food business. Oh wait and they dont offer benefits!! So enjoy your 12 free bagels but know the story and corruption that goes on behind the scenes there. How many people want a person who just cleaned the bathrooms to go right back on the line and have them prepare there food? oh wait and how many of them dont change there gloves after touching money ? I got a whole bunch more including how they help cheat the IRS by only putting half the earnings on the books so there employees can make below minimum wage! So if the greek family finds this post enjoy seeing your secret out and enjoy robbing the people a little bit more until the word spreads. I hope they crack down on your shady business

This place has the best bagels around. They are always fresh and soft. there not expensive at all and they have other items there too. There mini ciniman rolls are really good and soo is there coffee. I love this place.

You just can't get a great bagel in Florida, and the coffee??? pretty much the same thing...So when I visit LI, my first stop is always Bagel Lovers. The bagels are heavenly, I love the flavored cream cheeses, the coffee is always fresh (never funky tasting) and the staff is always friendly and cheerful - no matter how busy the place is. A great place!

these bagels are always fresh,soft,and chewy the way they should be.the coffee is nice and strong not waterd down like other stores ive been to.the employees need a little atitude adjustment but other wish i love the place

I think this place is a ripoff. They have a big sign in the window about how you get 12 bagels free when you buy 12. I eat a plain bagel, twice a day during the week which has helped me keep off 75 pounds over the past 2 years. A good bagel is important to me. Well, I got the two dozen for $7.80, which is the cost for their dozen at 65 cents each with the 12 free. I ate their bagels as I usually do and I noticed that I was hungry about an hour earlier than normal each time. This happened each day over the course of a week. I started wondering why this was happening until I took a closer look at one of their large sized bagels. When I pinched one of their bagels between my fingers, it compressed down to less than half an inch! The reason they offer their special is because the bagels are all filled with air. The bagels themselves weigh hardly anything, probably less than half the weight of a standard bagel from a real bagel store. Considering that their bagels are 65 cents each, when most places sell their's for 50 cents, they're actually ripping you off...big time. Go with a reputable bagel establishment and spend your money there. If you only want one bagel, you'll pay less and get a denser, high quality bagel. If you want a dozen bagels, you'll be better off as the ones you get will be more filling. Don't waste your time or money on this place!

I went here for bagels. They were hard and disgusting. The owner was a complete jerk when I complained, treating me the way he treated his employees in front of all the customers (which is awful). The store was a mess. The display case had crap that was there for 2 weeks. I would never go back again.
