We are military and I have seen my share of restaurants. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat! I have 3 young kids and the staff always tries to make our eating experience a pleasant one. The service is fast, efficient, they are great on refills and getting you what you need in a timely manner. The portions are big enough to serve you through two meals or stuff a very big eater, the prices are fantastic for the food you are getting (about 8 dollars for a huge burger I have to smash to even fit into my mouth & a side of fries). Their pies are Marie Calendar quality and absolutely delish! Best of all, they offer a military discount! They also offer to go service, have a free jukebox in the restaurant to select from, and a small shop for souvenirs! The atmosphere is a pleasant one, the people are friendly, and lots of "bear things" (statues and such) to admire while eating. Highly recommended!

Finally a place that gives you what you pay for. I left so full I could hardly move. The pies are hands down the best in Hanford. The burgers are so big you need a fork and knife to eat them. This is ome of THE BEST places in Hanford.

This place has great food, big portions, great coffee, great atmosphere, great service, and great coffee.

We went to this place on a whim and it was great. Their sausage is to die for. It is homemade and has great seasoning. Eggs were cooked perfect to order. The country red diced potatoes were terrific. They were specially seasoned. I don't even like potatoes and I thought they tasted great. Waffles and pancakes were the best I ever had.

We plan to come back here soon as we want to try lunch and dinner and breakfast.

The menu in on a special newspaper about the Black Bear Diner. It has tons of Menu items on it. It was hard to decide what to eat since we know everything will be great.

If you are in the Hanford area you will need to try this place. I guarantee this is one of the best breakfasts that you ever had.
