This has to be the 14th manager since last year..this one thinks he can fix anything, but really isn't doing anything better. ALso noticed a constant revolving staff. What goes wrong there that no one can stay working there? We ate there last Saturday, April 12...what a mess. Our food was an hour and a half late.. plus, we had to wait an hour for a table. I will not be returning there again...They need to try another manager, because this one, is not doing what he needs to do. Every time we go in there, there is a new "manager". The place is a mess. Im a local and always enjoyed the pub, but not anymore.

dude are you kidding me, that is impossible for you to have gone to the brew pub on a saturday night and have only one other table. i go there every weekend and it is packed with a wait.

Place filled up with flies the other night! People were sitting down, ordering, then walking out.
Owners tried to blame it on the sheep farm across the street. I blame it on the pigs! Just look at all the crap out back of the Mountainview Inn and you'll know what I mean.
An employee walked around spraying a can of raid -- I don't think they sold very much food or beer that night.

The owners seem to think that people with no restaurant backround can run one. They're obviously wrong.

What a bummer.

Let me start out by saying I've lived in Long Valley for 7 years and always LOVED the Brew Pub.

Went there with the wife and kids this (Saturday) evening around 5:30. The first tip should've been that the bar was completely empty. The next tip-off should've been that there was only one other table with people at it.

If that didn't give it away, the menu should have. About 10 entrees, one of which is -- MACARONI AND CHEESE! Do you believe it?????

This is a place that has always been known for it's craft beers and mildly eclectic menu. But not any more. My wife's 'Pulled Pork Sandwich' was a cubed pork chop, smothered in BBQ sauce. My Cobb Salad was wilted with dried chicken strips. Our kids meals came at LEAST 30 minutes before ours. When I asked the waitress to see a menu to verify that my wife's sandwich was, indeed, supposed to be PULLED pork, she asked if there was a problem. When I pointed out that it was a cubed pork chop, she indicated that they were under new ownership (The Chester Diner) and that they were trying out a new menu.

The only saving grace is that we had a $40 gift certificate that covered the $38 bill (no apps, drinks -- just ice water).

Please -- if the owners are reading this -- please sell the place to someone who knows how to run a restaurant! This is not a diner, nor a shot and a beer joint like the Schooley's Mtn Inn you bought.

What a shame...
