I lived in Orlando for 15 years and this was one of the best breakfast restaurants that I found! My friends and I would always go there on Saturday's for their healthy menu items!

I read all of the reviews before visiting this restaurant on a recent Sunday in Orlando. This is by far one of the best breakfast places I have ever eaten at and I can see why others have rated it so highly. They have homemade crepes, waffles and pancakes and great egg dished. Their breakfast meat is obviously of higher quality than most. They are known for their service and I can see why -- friendly and efficient.

It's easy to see why this place wins Best Breakfast and Best Brunch year after year. The standard breakfast items are wonderful and they also feature some very unique items. The pancakes are HUGE and delicious. They also have a nice selection of healthy alternatives. Also, no extra charge for egg whites and FREE WiFi!!
Award Nomination: Best Service

I was told by a friend that the First Watch was THE place to go for breakfast in Dr. Phillips. After eating there a few times I had to wonder why.
How is this place any better than Perkin's, Denny's or IHOP? The omelets are the same old fold over liquid egg creation that all the national chains use.
Everybody seems to think that if you put the same tired product in an upscale neighbornood with a different name that it must be better since it is "their place".
I am sure many of the mindless "Watchie's" will come to their defense. But ask yourself if you would know the difference between their breakfast and one from Perkin's, Denny's or IHOP if they were all in front of you at once.
I'm guessing you wouldn't.

The First Watch is an excellent choice if you are looking for a straight forward, plain vanilla middle of the road breakfast. They serve a boring "done in a fry pan fold over omelet" with a lower quality cheese and those dreaded liquid eggs.
Based on the weekend crowds they have found their nitch, go figure.
If you want something other than a fast service middle of the road breakfast try the Market Street Cafe in Celebration or the best new place in Orlando, the Florida Waffle Shop in the Millenia area.

Probably one of the best breakfast/lunch chains around. I am a regular at the Tampa location on Dale Mabry. While in Orlando, decided to check out this location. The food and service was just as terrific.
