I ate at the Bagels unlimited on University Ave. and like the other customers said the wait was LONG!! I ordered to go. I ordered 2 eggs and grits. They charge $1 per egg. So I could have bought a dozen eggs!! for just the 2 I got! The eggs were cooked the way I wanted so that was good. But The GRITS!!!! They charge $1.59 for Microwave Grits!! They didn't even cook them stove top!! When I got home the grits were NOT even cooked all the way and they were warm! Not even scorching hot like they are suppose to be. I had to Finish cooking the grits!! I would NOT go back to Bagels Unlimited again! It was a waste of my money!

The place to go for a good breakfast in Gainesville. Quirky staff, polite owner, clean place. They have a rack on the wall with a variety of hot sauces and spicy mustards. They just moved to university, cross the st. from mellow mushroom. I would recommend going there.

Every Sunday my boyfriend and I go to Bagels Unlimited for breakfast. The food is awesome! But, be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. It is a very popular spot and the wait can be quite a doozy. But the food more than makes up for it. During the week the wait is no problem and the food is still great! We've been going here for almost a year and still continue to do so. Oh, and the prices are great, definitelly a 'bang for your buck' spot. If you don't mind a wait it's a great place to eat!

I wanted a bagel one morning and decided to try Bagels Unlimited. Bad idea. First we waited about 15 minutes for someone to even approach the table. Next we ordered drinks and waited about 15 minutes more for them to come and the server to take our order. The water had a slimy greasy coating floating on the top, by the way. We fianlly got the two bagels we orderd about 45 minutes after getting our seats. The bagels were very good, and that was the only good part. When we went to pay the bill came out to over $10 for 2 bagels and 2 cups of OJ, hopefully someone made a terrible mistake when ringing us up. So, all in all it was a pretty bad experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Best breakfast for a crowd. Want to get together with a friend or ten for Sunday breakfast -- Bagels Unlimited is the place to go. Not that there is a ton of seating, but the staff is nice and will help you push the benches together. They are also great at splitting checks.
"But what about the food?" you ask. Well, I'll tell you, it is one my my three favorite breakfast joints in town. Number two being Jeff's New York Deli, and number one being my house.
Try the lox platter -- it's great. Or try the kinshes (ask for some sour cream to spread on top). You want more traditional? Their pancakes are always fluffy. The hubster always gets the eggs, grits, biscuits, and bacon. He seems to think they are the best ever -- especially when he chops them all up and mixes them together.
Should you be in more of a rush, don't forget the bagels! They have a truly great pumpernickle and a take out counter, if you can't wait for a table.
