I was so looking forward to a great chicken fried steak all morning. Well, it was good, maybe even very good, but not great. The batter was good and best of all, not plastered on. As a matter of fact it was light and tasty. The meat though was so thin it almost disappeared in places leaving nothing but batter. Service is great and atmosphere is wonderful, pure, diner.

I looked at all of the reviews from this website only to find this place had all good reviews so I decided to check it out. My wife went there expecting to have a good breakfast. However, what we got was a great time along with terrific food. I told the waitress that we found this place via this site and it had recieved a 5 egg review. She told the cook/owner Mark who then came to introduce himself and personally welcomed us. He said that he personally would make our breakfast even though he was about to leave. I ordered the Cheesy omelet, and my wife made her own omelet. I also asked for an order of biscuts and gravy instead of toast. before our meal arrived Mark sent us a complimentary biscuit with gravy. We wolfed it down and even licked the plate. It was the best Ive ever had. The biscuit was flakey and moist and the gravy was thick, rich, and delicious. then when our order came we were overwhelemed by the size. I even saw another patron who ordered what looked like a chicken fried steak and eggs the steak was bigger than the plate. Dont go here already full. Later we were given a test sample of there clam chowder, absolutly delicious! I will recomend this place to anybody. From the outside it doesnt look like much but you will enjoy the food and Mark talking about his passion for food which shows in the final product on your plate.

I use to work for this company. I have tried alomost everything on the menu. I have not tried one thing at Joseys that i did not like. I am not a huge biscut n gravy fan, but i love thiers. They are a great place to take the family for breakfast or lunch. They will surly have something the whole family will enjoy.

Saw the recs on this site and decided to try it out. Went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. Biscuits and gravy is to die for, french toast is delish, meatloaf is awesome, and the eggs come extra cheesy like. The best part was the service. Mark and his crew are not just cooks and servers, they are entertainers. Go try this breakfast.

I have ate there quite a bit and everything I have tried, like their pork chop breakfast is great and lunch specials are good buys. The portions have been almost to much in some cases but that's a good thing I love having extra omlette for lunch at home. If you are wondering where to get your moneys worth go there, I keep on going back. Very nice owner and help.

I love this place! I go there regularly and love everything I have tried. The breakfast menu is so good I rarely eat from the lunch or dinner menu even though it’s great too. I am addicted to Mark’s country gravy but it’s all so good. B&G, chicken fried stake, pancakes, and if you’re lucky they have left over meatloaf from Wednesday to make cheesy beef omelets on Thursday. This is the best omelet I have ever had no question. Get it with a side of gravy. I’m a big guy and have never left wanting more and often take home leftovers. Go early they are only open for dinner two nights per week.

Mark and his wife make EVERYTHING from scratch and use good family fare to bring in the crowds... Get great breakfasts and lunches here and have a good time talking about old cars, good food, and Tigger and other eclectic topics... Caters to late middle aged and senior citizens.
