I love diners that are surrounded by glass! They make me think of China in the spring time. Go China! Betty, the head waitress, was very nice and was wearing the cutest stockings I have ever seen. Green earrings to boot!

Go here to be transported to a Midwestern Utopia. Go China!

I was stuck in traffic on the Belt Pkwy ,heading East.I deceided to exit at Cropsey Ave.when I saw the diner that I had known as Nebraska.When I pulled into the lot I noticed it's new name was now Retro Diner.There were pictures of famous movie stars such as Marilyn Monroe,and scenes from Coney Island that are now landmarks.What a pleasant atmosphere it was and very clean as well.The servive was excellent and so was the food.The waitresses seemed genuinely "happy to serve you".Stopping at the Retro Diner turned a bad traffic day into an enjoyable outing! Now I plan to eat Thanksgiving Dinner their with my family ...and who cares if there's traffic!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FUTURISTIC DINER, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. THE DINER HAS GLASS ALL AROUND IT. THE INSIDE OF THIS DINER, MIGHT ALMOST APPEAR LIKE THE JETSONS. THE FOOD IS DESCENT. THE COFFEE IS GOOD. THE SERVICE IS GOOD. THE WAITERS AND WAITRESSES ARE FRIENDLY. HOWEVER, I WILL TAKE THE TRADITIONAL DINER OVER A DINER OF GLASS.
