While Flappy Jack's Pancake House Restaurant does offer the widest selection of All-American breakfast entrees ever offered in one restaurant, its specialties are their Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes and the Original Belgian Waffle. And after sampling both, I have to admit that they certainly are the best-tasting homemade versions I've ever had. The pancakes are fluffy and tasty, and the Belgian waffle is light, crispy, and deliciously flavorful, too! Be sure to come with an empty stomach because they serve huge portions here!

HOURS: 6 am to 3 pm, MON - SAT and 7 am to 3 pm, SUNDAY.
Breakfast is served ALL DAY.
Weekends are very busy.

PARKING: FREE parking in their small parking lot. Limited street parking is also available.
PRICES: Most breakfast entrees are priced under $10.
SENIOR DISCOUNT: 10% OFF any item on their menu. (Just be sure to ask for this discount from the Cashier.)

This restaurant is located N of the #210 Freeway. EXIT from this freeway at Grand Ave and drive N to Route 66 (formerly known as Foothill Blvd.), where you will then turn L. Drive about 1/2 block westbound until you see the place on your left.

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker, it is about a 30-40 minute drive from my home but worth the drive. There will be a longer wait on holidays and weekends. The menu is huge! Omellets, pancakes, skillets, wraps, sandwiches, salads, burgers - at least 8 different kinds of each item. I've always ordered something different and have never been dissapointed. *The corned beef hash was a little salty though. Servers are always nice and happy to help. OMG! I must let you know that their FRENCH ONION SOUP is the BEST I have ever had anywhere - very hearty. YUMMMMMM!

We went to this place because of the selar reviews. This place is awesome. It;s the best place Ive seen in Los Angeles. The Pancakes are huge and the eggs are delicious. The service was fantastic. I can't say enough about this place. You need to go there. yOU NEED TO GO THERE NOW.

Flappy Jack's is a 1950's themed diner, with the emphasis being on its location on Historic Route 66.

The menu is massive, with like 100 different kinds of pancakes, etc. But they also have a huge selection of egg dishes and skillet meals. So everyone in the family will find something they like.

My favorite is the multi grain pancakes, but it's a massive amount of food. You can easily share this dish.

The service is average to good, especially considering they get extremely crowded weekend mornings. The best time to go is early in the morning during the week.

This is a great place to have a lazy breakfast. They have a large menu and everything that we have tried has been good. Although it gets crowded, it is worth the wait. Bring the kids and enjoy!

We discovered this place from Mr. Breakfast. My sister and I go to this donut place called The Donut Man in Glendora off of Route 66.. just down the street from Flappy Jacks. The donut man has stuffed strawberry and peach donuts when they are in season! Delicious!! We drive from Huntington Beach for these donuts!! So if you are in the mood for a donut after Flappy Jacks, head there~!!! We usually eat too much at Flappy's and have to take our donuts to go! Yummy!! Flappy Jacks has excellent skilletts.. they are so flavorful, and the strawberry blintz is a must!! We never go without ordering that. That is a breakfast staple for our table! I have also tried the country fried steak... the gravy is delicious!! Actually, everything we have ever ordered was excellent, and the service is great! Gotta head back to Flappys!!!! Thanks Mr. Breakfast for the recommendation!!!

I happened to accidentally find this place while taking a drive on historic Route 66. Let me tell you, this place is AWESOME. It has such a huge variety of items, that you kind of want to go back so you can try everything. I had an omelette, that was fluffy and tasty, nothing that I have ever had before. I can't wait to go back again to try their lunch items. Definately a must in my book. At my servers suggestion, I tried the OJ which she informed me was fresh squeezed and new on their menu.

After searching unsuccessfully for a great breakfast in the Pasadena area, I widened my search and happened upon this Glendora favorite. The menu is huge, decent-sized portions and THE BEST pancakes I've ever had...and that's saying a lot! If you're in the mood for something eggy, try the skillets (which also come with pancakes). The only disappointment was the orange juice. A must try, certainly worth the drive from elsewhere. WOW!
