My wife and I recently discovered Valentino's, and we love to eat there. The prices aren't bad at all (in fact, lunch deals are actually cheaper than eating at any of the fast food restaurants in town), and the food is quite good. As has been mentioned before, if you think the service is too slow, you're probably in too big of a hurry to enjoy your company and the freshly-prepared food.

Not the best service. Seem to act like they are doing you a favor... ok subs.. Decor sucks.. Lack of confidience as an Italian restaraunt. Ate there once with hubby, had a sewer smell which was very unappetizing, could have been the high school though. Must say they are better than Givonas in St.paul that place is nasty, rude, rude, ugly greasy food.. should be out of bussiness. I think the best place to eat in Clintwood is eithe long johns or subway, next VAlentions, then pizza hut, then hardees

I think that Valentino's is a very good restaurant to visit. The food is wonderful! As for the comments about the restaurant needing work done inside and out, they do need more customers so that more money can be made to be able to fix the place up nice, and to have more people to work to help take care of the customers. Support them all you can! And the coffee is the best coffe I have ever had! I go there everyday just to have coffee, not to mention the good food! The prices, I think, are adequate for the food that is served. They are not a fast food restarant, either. It takes time to fix the wonderful food that is served. My favorite foods they serve is the pasta dishes and the pizza's. And the salads are very good, too. All the food is delicous!!

I thought the food was very good. However for what you receive I thought that the prices for the meals were pricey. The people that waits on you are nice, but slow. The building needs alot of work at least inside. I am amazed that the health department hasn't shut them down as of yet do to the condition of the building.

I have eaten at Valetino's several times with my husband. I find the food to be very good. The service is a little slow but what do you expect for a small resturant? I find that even though the service may be somewhat slow, it gives me and my husband a chance to chit-chat (and let any appetizers/salads settle for the main course in the meantime). If anyone has a problem with slow serice, then they apparently are in too big of a hurry to enjoy good food and the company they are with.
