If you like soggy french toast sticks, cold syrup from last week, and stale waffles, this is the place for you. Service is normally pretty good for us though, but is getting worse as the restaurant is hiring any bozo that walks in because of Hurricane Katrina.

Not just this Shoney's, but most Shoney's restaurants seem to have gone down in the quality of food being served. The breakfast buffet was tasteless, messy and disappointing. Service was not much better. The waitress was bordering on rude when she remarked that the day we went should not be a holiday. It was Good Friday. I don't live in Louisiana, but this type of food is indicitive of Shoney's in Mississippi also. I will probably never eat at a Shoney's again.
