Had heard about this restaurant on the Food Network and everyone was recommending it, so we gave it a try. We were NOT disappointed. Food and service was awesome! We will recommend it and hopefully return again.

Ate here on Memorial Day. It was a great start to a neat day of touring the various war memorials. Waitress was friendly, attentive, and helpful with sightseeing questions.

Food was quite good; The decor is dated but very DC in a good way. 1 block from the White House, and T. Roosevelt hunting trophies over the bar.

I would visit again without hesitation.

This place looks old and stodgy with the heavy wood paneling and paintings of mostly naked Rubenesque women. However, the staff is great and the food is wonderful and reasonably priced. The place is packed on Sunday mornings with families and church goers. However, head to the bar and watch football on the big screen while you munch on an omelette, eggs bendict, or the seasonal oysters.

Usually the Preisdent's tailor is in there at the bar on Sundays as well. It's an iconic DC restaurant.
