Just thought I would mention, the location at W. Cheyenne has closed down. Bummer too, because they had great food. :(

My trips to the Original Pancake House have been to the one on Charleston (4833 W Charleston Blvd). I had great pancakes there the last time I was in Vegas, but I was regretting not trying the Dutch Baby.

On this second trip, I recalled the horribly slow service from my previous trip because it was happening again - I think it might have been the same server (and the same rude, cell-phone-using diners adjacent to my table). I knew the food was good, so I didn't let it taint my experience.

The Dutch Baby takes almost 20 minutes (they tell you this on the menu), so knowing that my server was horribly slow, I ordered a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice to help kill my hunger. My dish was preceded by a plate of lemon wedges and a sauce cup filled with powdered sugar. When the Dutch Baby came, I asked for syrup and a got a disapproving look from the waitress - I used it anyway, but very sparingly. I decided to try it their way with just the lemon and sugar - OMG! It was SO good, I kind of felt bad that I "soiled" it with syrup.

Restaurant.com offers discount certificates for this location - I spent a little over $1.00 (I used a discount code) on a dining certificate for $10 - my total bill at the restaurant was $15 for two people.

Nice creative menu, items you won't find anywhere else, check out the dutch baby. Great service.

The Original PK Hose serves an above-average breakfast. And the last comment was right.... this is the best bacon I ever had, bar none. And I am not even a bacon fan. The omelets are BAKED here, giving them a slightly different flavor and texture than most. Sometimes, the outside gets a little crispy from the oven, but it actually enhances the flavor a little bit. The house specialty is a huge apple pancake that is a little sweet for me, but everyone I know that loves pancakes/waffles and the like rave about it. Real good place, I go often!
