We had a very poor experience at Linda's today (Nov 16, 2008). Even though there were 3 waitresses waiting tables, the service was horrible. I had to repeatedly ask for refills of coffee. My husband's coffee cup had soap in it. The second cup was no better. The wait for our breakfast was more than 30 minutes, and that was after the 15 minute wait to give our order. The food was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Linda's!

After reading all of the great reviews, I thought I would try this place out. I don't know what happened between the other people to visit and me, but it was not the same place. The coffee was awful. I could not even stand to take more than one sip of it. The general cleanliness of the place was lacking, and they had a definite gnat problem in there. The food was ok, but definitely did not make up for all of the other shortcomings. The service was non-existent as well. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very generous portions for breakfast. I like their sausage gravy. The place also delivers.I dont recommend their lunch or dinner.

I ate at Linda's Cafe at 45665 West Church Road in Sterling, VA on 6-27-08 and I liked it. The pancakes were good and fresh and the service was fast. The customers ranged from businessmen in white shirts and ties to construction workers in t-shirts and boots. Everyone was welcomed. The food was a good price. It's not a fancy place, but it's clean and the food is good. I was not the only woman in the place which was nice.

The woman behind the counter was more interested in providing details of her personal life and flirting with some truckers than providing customer service. I was really disappointed.

Linda's Cafe is a diamond in the rough! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!
Even when it's bussy there is never a wait. This restaurant has a hometown atmosphere. The food is just greasy enough. My wife loves the waffles and pancakes and I enjoy the large selection of breakfast platters. The coffee is always good and fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Linda's is the mom and pop restaurant that the area needs- never too crowded, always good food- the waffles are excellent! They have great combo deals and have generous portions. Definitely highly recommended.
