This is a great place. Everyone is treated like family, in this family owned and operated place. The coffee isn't the best but the food more than makes up for it. Their ham is the best in Rhode Island and carved to order. It's not the fanciest place, but when you get your food, you'll soon forget about that.

terrible. i dunno what was more greasy the food or the waitstaffs hair. if youre looking for a ten dollar stomach ache have fun.

Toast was too hard and coffe had a slight bitter taste. Service as average as was atmosphere.

Cal's is a family-style diner with traditional delicious breakfast dishes, and mix-matched coffee mugs. The servers are always cheerful and friendly, and although there are plenty of regular customers, they have a map on the wall that shows how far some people will travel just to get Cal's fabulous pumpkin pancakes!
