Ok, it's a little bit of a dump, but we love this place. It's real, it's unpretentious, the waitstaff are great (best busperson in town!), the food is solid and reliable. During the week you can always get seated right away, while on weekends expect to wait 20 minutes. We recommend the waffles or the veggie morning delight, and the fruit and yoghurt things are good. It's just good old comfort food in a good setting.

While there today for the umpteenth time, my best friend and I realized that this may be our favorite restaurant. Ever. My mother even goes here without complaint - and that is a BIG endorsement.
That being said, I'll admit that I haven't had that much on the menu. However, that's because what I've had so far they do so well that I want it over and over. And what is this fabulous dish? It's called a Veggie Morning Delight ($3.95 I think) and it's AMAZING - whole wheat eng. muffin w/ egg, cheese, chopped veggies and sunflower seeds - a balanced meal, cheap, and perfect. I can also speak to the AMAZING (really.) pancakes and muffins. The pancakes, about which I am an aficionado in general, are huge (1 is a meal) and grilled (w/ multiple REAL fruit options) so they have that yummy crispy crust going on. Muffins are bran-y and come in great flavors (I have yet to be let down) and are enormous. They also have a nice little fruit bowl, and a frozen yogurt menu w/ lots of options (froyo on muffins? waffles? assorted produce? yes.)
Coffee refills depend on the waitress. Today was a little slow but usually it's even faster than I imagined possible/maybe even wanted. Coffee is diner-esque and pretty good, and they have Splenda which makes me happy.
Some of the menu items (like my foodie BFF's favorite, the Veggie Boule, a bread bowl with eggs & veggies pouring out) are more expensive (I think that's around 8 dollars), but you get your money's worth - she always ends up w/ ample leftovers where I usually do not with my 4 dollar meal.
Go to this place. Go. The line is long but it moves and it is WELL worth the wait. Good looking salad bar, nice waitresses, cozy yet bustling atmosphere that feels wonderful.

Food is good, but pricey and portions are not very large (as compared to other breakfast spots around A2). Wait can often be long, but service is friendly. Not a bad place for breakfast or a light lunch.
