For the selection of eggs benedict offered on the menu, you'd expect them to be able to cook it properly. I was served the equivalent of hard boiled eggs. The hollandaise sauce lacked flavor. The potatoes appeared to be seasoned well but fell short. I didn't get a refill on my coffee, the service was slow, and I was never asked how my breakfast was. Our family of three had a bill of $35 w/tip and there are much better ways to waste your money. Skip this place.

The Best Breakfast in Bath, ME!! We didn't find Mae's until the end of our vacation, we tried all the other places in town and Mae's was the place to be!

We had a very good meal with attentive service. We were in a hurry and let the server know, she went out of her way to take care of us! The food was great and we grabbed some great cookies and cinnamon buns for the road, the cakes are gorgeous.

The omelets are huge, the pecan sticky buns are fresh out of the oven and made out back in the bakery. We had the most incredible french toast made with their own cinnamon swirl bread. Big bowls of real oatmeal with blueberries, cream and walnuts. This place is amazing! Plan on skipping lunch, you're good until dinner after eating at Mae's!
