I really enjoyed our breakfast. The coffee was excellent, not the typical bitter weak breakfast joint coffee and the menu offered lots of unique items. I had the Southwest Breakfast Lasagna made with layers of tortilla, charizo sausage, ranchero sauce, monteray jack cheese & cheddar cheese. YUM! I saw the baked french toast at the table next to us...holy cow it was like a 6" square of yummy looking french toast with berries & struedel topping. Next time I want to try the french toast with fresh strawberry & cream cheese stuffing. A little expensive, but worth it. Our service was great, I did hear some other people around us complaining about a long wait for the food...ours came fairly quick.

I just visited the Farmington Hills location for the first time. I thought it lived up to my expectations. I got the "Creme Brulee French Toast" and it was like heaven on a plate. Loved my side of bacon, as they use thick cut bacon, not the flimsy pieces you get elsewhere. I thought the service was great considering the never-ending stream of people coming and going. One waitress dropped a plate of fresh food, and the busboy had it sweeped up in 30 seconds tops. I would definitely recommend this place.

I went to The Breakfast Club with my family and some relatives on a Sunday. I heard a lot of good things about it, but overall I thought the experience was very average, if that. I guess you have to order the right thing, I recommend the french toast, or one of their specialties...otherwise don't bother. When we got our food, some of it was cold and nearly all of ours was only lukewarm. I asked the waitress kindly to warm it up, and she basically (nicely) argued with me saying that it couldn't be cold because the plate was still warm, I continued to tell her that it was indeed cold and after that she finally took it back to make a new plate for me. Later on in the meal a busboy filled up our glasses with water and while he was trying to fill up my glass he spilled water on my toast. He gave me more bread a few minutes later, though. I did enjoy the chocolate covered strawberries at the end, of course. And I think the staff (or at least the people that were waiting on us) should be more professional and improve their attitude with customers. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Breakfast was above average, but I would not travel far out of my way, because of super high expectations

The service is pleasant and wonderful. The food is great and unique. There is one problem I have experienced first hand with The Breakfast Club. On three occasions I have placed reservations, 2 of which were at least 24 hours notice. Not one reservation was met on time. At one time, our party of 6 was set at a small table for 2 or 3. I will keep on coming back for breakfast but beware of parties larger than 4.

A great alternative to the typical "Coney Island" type breakfast. The menu has an extensive choice of tasty items. Large portions and the service people are very friendly. This type of menu selection is greatly needed on the northwest side of Metro Detroit.
