First things first, this place is busy so be prepared to wait. Unless, like me, you're on your own. I was promptly seated at the bar, and was out of there within twenty minutes.

Secondly, this place is not cheap. I'm British, and found everything in Manhattan to be really expensive so I didn't mind, but locals and other Americans might find it a bit pricey.

Let's be honest though, you go there for the food - which was AMAZING. I had a simple breakfast of 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon and scrambled egg. The scrambled egg came with a sprinkling of parsley on top (nice touch) and were perfectly cooked. The bacon was thick, and neither crispy or chewy - just right. The pancakes were not only huge, they were thick, but also light and fluffy. They came with a jug of maple syrup (enough to drown a small child) and a small pot of their homemade strawberry butter - this place is worth going to just for the strawberry butter!!

I had a cup of coffee, which was refilled once (ample for length of time I was there) and came with a glass of ice water. I found the overall vibe of the place very nice, and I'll definitely return next time I'm in the Big Apple.

Ive been here twice the first time I waited for over and hour and after breakfast, I thought I just waisted 2hrs of my life took forever to get breakfast, I found myself in here one more time and I figured i'd give it another chance on a recommendation from a friend, I left Good Enough to Eat and when I did leave I pretty much felt like I was Good enough to THROW UP Stay Away from this place, waste of time and money

This place is very homey and comfortable. Their French toast is my favorite and they also have very good coffee. Try it. You'll like it.

Always interesting and tasty seasonal pancake choices. I've ordered something different every time I go and always been impressed. Long lines but worth the wait!
