This place used to be great! But then they franchised and went to pot - no better than Denny's or Shari's. Their motto was "we don't do fast food, we do real food as fast as we can". Now EVERYTHING is frozen, canned or powered. The frozen, processed hashbrowns were cooked on one side and still cold in the middle. I've LOVED this place for years, but will not go back until they return to their roots and REAL food.

As others have noted, the atmosphere is a little open and noisy due to the type of building it is located in but I've no other complaints. Ordered the corned beef hash which came with eggs (I had scrambled egg substitute) hash browns and pancakes. The waiter was very cheerful and attentive, upgraded my pancakes to sweet potato pancakes with no fuss or extra charge. Our drinks were just ice water, but they came with a bit of lemon in them and were topped off three different times. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh, outstanding in flavor and very generous, sweet potato pancakes had a nutmeg flavor and were amazing with their whipped butter and a wee pitcher of warm syrup. My sampling of my tablemates' biscuits and sausage links were likewise very tasty.
We took some of it home in boxes and I got three different meals out of that single order of corned beef, I kid you not. Will definitely be going back again.

The place is a little loud, a little crowded and we waited a while before the two of us were seated - because they are doing something really right.
The coffee was decent, but the food was spectacular. I had some of the best corned beef hash I've ever tasted and the sausage in her omelet was delicious. The red potatoes were perfectly seasoned too.
I don't think we spent as much as we would have at Marie Callendars and the food was WAY better.

My husband and I tried the new location in Tigard the first time about 2 weeks after it opened and the second time a week later. The first time it took us 45 minutes for our food to arrive, I found the hashbrowns mushy in the middle and the corned beef pretty bland. Went for lunch a week later, and my fries were cold while my husband's were nice and hot. However, he had very little chili on his Chili Burger. Service is fine, atmosphere is horrible. We won't be going back.

Delicious! Best breakfast place I've eaten at. I got the french toast with (thick cut) bacon and (actually crispy) hash browns! Everything was great. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. All the food is made fresh, not frozen. My husband got the ham and cheese omelett which he really enjoyed; and the buscuits (I stole one from him) which are fluffy and good. Mmmm will definitely be back!

We just moved here from Washington and there were some good places there, but I gotta rave about this little franchise. Their menu is varied and they have special items like eggs Benedict with spinach and even a hash bennie. I've been for breakfast twice and lunch once. But the HASHBROWNS, oh my gosh. They know this food item and they cook it PERFECTLY. I know how hard it is to get these right. But these cooks have it down. Great pancakes, great meats, the sausage is herby and not gristly like some fat links can be, the staff are HAPPY (for another happy staff, see my review on Hale's in Hillsboro). This means they treat employees well, and it shows in the food and the service. I haven't tried the biscuits so this review is incomplete, since the name of the restaurant would indicate they have good ones. Check it out for yourself and post it! JT

Ate here today for the first time and was very pleased!. My wife had the french toast with link sausage, eggs and a side of hash browns. The french toast was a classic, no fancy bells & whistles but just great basic french toast. She raved about the hash browns, noting that "finally someone who knows how to cook these right."
I had the special pumpkin pancakes which were wonderful and had just enough pumpkin pie spice to make me feel the fall holiday season was upon me. Good patty sausage too, and eggs cooked as I requested. Coffee was not so great, but plenty of it. Wait staff was friendly and helpful with menu suggestions.
Don't know where some of the reviewers here eat, but I thought the prices were very resonable, especially considering the quality of the food and generous portions; you probably aren't going to stagger away from the table, but you won't leave hungry either. We are certainly going back, I have my eye on at leat 5 other things I on the menu I want to try.

The is soooo good here! The portions are quite large. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. Everything I've had there tasted fresh. I will definitely go back the next time I visit Beaverton.

The place tucked away there on baseline road is just fantastic! HUGE portions, and top quality food! Prices not really that bad when you do your homework, Lower than elmers and inline with the greasey spoons but 10X better. BY FAR the best breakfast in Oregon. CHECK IT OUT!

Love this place every time we go! Great portions, food is always fresh and exceptionally tasty (we've tried just about every breakfast they have!) Prices seem average compared to other local places. Always clean and friendly, too. A best bet!

Yuck! The egg white omelet was so watery it was like goo. The prices are VERY high for Beaverton. I would expect prices like this in NY or SF but Beaverton? Waitress was bitter and in hiding most of the time. I don't like Tom's but it's better than this place.

Clean, plenty of seating, with friendly and attentive staff.
Portion size was huge! Excellent omelet! Opted for red potatoes rather than hash browns (A good choice)
Biscuits were fresh and hot and still steaming inside when served.
Looked around at what other people were having and French toast and steak and eggs looked appealing.
Coffee was excellent, didn’t require cream and sugar.

This is a large open place, in a new building. The meals I've tried, are great, with large portions. You pay a little more here, but you will see why. The items on the menu, make me want to come back again, and try them all. The wait help are very pleasant and helpful. This restaurant is a local chain, with another one across from Jesuit High school.
