Great spot for Sunday brunch. Huevos Rancheros very tasty. Food delivered nice and hot. Staff very attentive. Will be coming back for more. Johnnie Mac

While Parkside was closed for a while, it has been re-opened by Mark A. Dierkhising. Food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. Fresh ingredients are the norm here. The fruit garnish isn't just there for the looks. My favorite is the Country Benedict, but there are many other great items on the menu. You can never go wrong with the daily special that generally uses some fresh ingredient that's become available. Coffee is excellent and you can't ask for a quicker or friendlier refill. Both staff and customers are friendly and you get a definite welcome feeling.

Only distractions are the small size of the dining room in the back and sometimes the volume of customers can make things slow.

It's a diner with some foodie kind of grub too! Example, typical sausage and eggs OR Eggs Monterey made like a benedict but with fresh crab cakes instead of ham!
