yes it has changed I remember when Arthur first came to marshfield he was worried he would not make it and I said to him sitting in his business and I quote give them good food and plenty of it and they will come,and so he did until he passed away his daughter has taken over the business and milked it dry with exspensive dishes its a breakfast people ,but everyone has there choice me I would go to the Hop

Ehhhhhhh, what can I say....2 people for breakfast, two normal meals....38.00..come on! It's breakfast people, not a gourmet lunch! Give me a break...Never will go back....Never.

I was very surprised to see any negative reviews of this place. My wife went there years ago but I had never been. When we evacuated New Orleans after Katrina hit and went to MA to stay with family she took me there. It was quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I ever had. We had huge omelets stuffed with unusual and delicious items. After I asked how the fried clams were for future reference (we were already stuffed) they brought me a side order on the house. The waitstaff was super friendly and got us talking. When we told them we had come from New Orleans (this was one week after the hurricane hit) they comped our whole meal and refused to take any money. I know that may seem to influence my opinion on the food, but believe me, a bad free meal is still a bad meal, and this was anything but. We will go back every time we hit the East Coast.

They're living on bygone fame when it use to be a good, fair place. Use to be a great place for breakfast....but no more!
It's now over-rated and much too expensive for what it should be.They squeeze you for every single little item .......like the unfair price of one egg for a child!........watch out for they're side order charges!
Instead of trying to make the place look friendly with kid's drawings on the walls .....they should've made the menu prices more friendly, before they lost a lot of nice people.
