I drive from Arcadia to Shaerman Oaks,to meet my frend and have a nice Breakfast,but we get the WORST SERVICE & FOOD,the other day,we met at the place,Sunday morning,when first open,7:00am,and we order couple of omelets..we ask the waitress for crispy hashbrown potatoes,and GUESS WHAT !! they served us last days.<< LEFT OVERS >>,HOW WE KNEW THAT???,They where BURNED and the eggs smell terible,the coffee so BAD,that we din't ask for refils.I DO NOT RECOMEND IT !!!

This place has bad food
It is owned by a greek an they serve the worst
Gyro I have ever, ever had. I mean it was
horrible.
You have to chase to get another cup of coffee
and the bathrooms always stink.

A real suprise. My wife and 2 children have lived in the area and never dined at The Lamplighter until today. We were greeted and sat and asked if we wanted coffee before we even had menus. We got our coffee with menus and we ordered right away. Our meals were hot and not greasy and the kids pancakes were really good and served with warm syrup. We asked what kind of pancakes and the server told us Aunt Jemima no wonder they were great. We really were very happy, service was fast and friendly food hot and good tasting and a busy place which you cannot tell by the outside. We will be back.
