We drove all the way from Tustin to try the famous breakfasts. I had the famous Sourdough Pancakes (Yum!) Free of any extra charges I sinfully added chocolate chips and (not so sinfully added free of an extra charge blueberries to these already delicious Sourdough Pancakes. These pancakes were awesome! The bowl of fruit that was served with the Pancakes was very fresh and awesome tasting and very filling. All three of us ate very delicious filling breakfasts which came in portions more than adequate for the prices we paid. I am not a coffee drinker so I can only tell you that the other two people I was with seemed highly satisfied with their coffee. The new owners would be wise to start selling their Cowboy Surfer Grill Coffee mugs ASAP. If they had been for sale on the day I went I would have bought at least four coffee mugs for soup, oatmeal, and hot chocolate at home Both the male and female bathrooms were very clean. According to my father who will never stay and eat at a restaurant if the bathroom is dirty the men's bathroom was very clean and also somewhat entertaining with some funny sayings to read inside the men's bathroom. My mom and I were thankful for the large poster of Matthew McConahay in his cowboy outfit and the calendar in the women's (Annette's) bathroom which also was very clean. The entire restaurant was very clean, the food was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the service was also excellent. Wish we had a Cowboy Surfer Grill like this closer to Tustin.

Best breakfast in town! A little hard to find but worth the effort. Great menu options, including sourdough pancakes, which are pretty amazing. Don't see what you want on the menu? Describe it and they will make it for you. Good people, friendly customers and great food.

My wife and I have been eating at this place for several years now. Always great food and a good price, service is actually great even if they tease about "Come for the food not the service." They are easy going and will adjust to your desires. ENJOY IT>

I actually went for breakfast this morning since I had heard nothing but good about this place... As a fan of peanut butter, one item on the menu caught my eye.. The Stoner Burger... OMG.. this is to die for. This has been the best burger I have had in quite a while. I have fixed them this way at home but something about the way they did it made it taste all the better. Service was great, waitress was very friendly and everyone seems to be know when they walk in. That tells me a lot of people return there for the Great food and Great service.

Sassy, serious all day breakfast joint with the best omlettes in the city. Cowboy size cups of coffee. Try the Monterey and awesome Uncle Richies omlettes. Want some carbs? Chow down on the T-Bims and the Divorciados spicy versions of huevos rancheros. Still got room? How about a giant scratch biscuit heaped with sausage country gravy. Very accomodating and snappy servers. Entertainment furnished by reading the slogans on the walls and trading barbs with Vera the Waitress. Just tell them Uncle Richie sent you.

This place serves breakfast all day, and has a huge menu of unusual omelets. Also sourdough pancakes, french toast, coffee cake. Giant mugs of strong coffee.
They have a good website, with a sampeling of their dishes.
