OK. We went back to this place to be fair. On their web site they show a legitimate brunch with chafing dishes etc. They say that there is homemade quiche, scrambled eggs, etc. First of all, the place is crowded, tables are close together and the noise level is high. There was no quiche and scrambled eggs, waffles and omelettes are cooked to order by the chef. So you have to wait for your eggs. Nothing was cooked enough. There was sausage, bacon, potatoes, french toast (the worst I ever had) and pre-cooked waffles in the chafing dishes. The lunch items were OK. The pastries were mostly Entenmanns. Nothing exceptional. There was a chocolate fountain with strawberries that my wife liked. Overall this is still overpriced (even at $19.99), ostentatious and not that good. I don't know what people expect when they go to a brunch. Most brunches disappoint and this one is no exception. Not worth your time unless you are a BayHeadite and want to be seen.

I don't know why this place keeps getting voted as one of the best Brunches in NJ. First of all, it's not a brunch. Unless of course you mean you can order breakfast or lunch from the same menu. Wow, what a concept. As far as the breakfast part is concerned, you order from the menu. You get nothing else. This place used to have a sideboard where you could get juice or pastries, etc. Now everything is ala carte. Oh by the way, the free cocktail with breakfast has to be the one they are serving that day, otherwise you have to pay extra for your drink. Nice place but a bit pretentious. The wait staff is not that attentive. The food is OK, but if you want breakfast and the ability to order lunch too, try any diner.
