Long-time locals' favorite. All the staff are characters in their own right. Food is classic American Breakfast and portions are huge: the 1/2 orders are enough for most people.

HUGE PORTIONS! I always seek out the best "locals" bfast location when I travel around the country. This is Stockton's best. Watch the chef (owner) work magic on his pint sized grill while working in his kilt (cooler). He is pure entertainment and knows the geography of that griddle better that any line chef. I'll go back every time I'm in Stockton. Try the ribeye.

Bring a Friend with you. The pancakes are hub caps, a full order of hash browns are half a plate and 3" tall, big portions of any meat choice you want.

Super biscuits & Gravy. reasonable prices great coffee clean booths and counter AAA+++ OK now for the bad news. They stay PACKED so if you are not in by 7:00am at the latest, you will be waiting for a seat (earler if the weathers bad). They open at 6:00 but you can get in at 5:30. Enjoy
