Tony's Restaurants are all over Saginaw. This location is considered the gold standard with the "Best of the Best" Breakfast from the local paper. Although, as a huge breakfast fan, I believe this is questionable, it's definitely one of the best. The service was friendly, the place looks nice, the atmosphere is fantastic (busy and bustling), the portions are large, the food is good, and the price is decent. Still comes across like a greasy spoon and I like the Gratiot/Center Rd. location much more ("Hot Girl" Tony's as it is known).

The food is great, especially the eggs, hash browns, sausage & Italian toast. The service is fairly good. You can always order lunch or dinner anytime, if you prefer something other than breakfast. The portions are huge.

The only criticism I have is the right-wing Fox whackos (Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity & Ingraham) message of racism and hate emanating out of this restaurant's overhead speakers in the place of what used to be pop & rock. Really, is it necessary to listen to these pontificating bozos while we eat?

Always busy...portions are huge, but you are tempted to eat every last bite. The atmosphere is that of a small town diner...and families meet for breakfast on weekends. Great breakfast!!
