Pepe's looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but it's very nice inside. They have outside dining as well.
We went there because I heard good things about their SOS, which my husband loves. I went with one of their griddle specials.
The portions were perfect and delicious and the service was great.

The daily specials are always to die for. I had some kind of breakfast burrito that was the best breakfast I ever had in my entire life. Fresh squeezed juices (available with booze if you're so inclined in the morning, which you probably are if you're vacationing in KW).

Every time we go to Key West we eat here for breakfast. It's usually crowded but the food is good. I had the Conch Benedict once and it rocked. Lots of hot sauce in the hollandaise... very good. It's reasonably priced and a fun place to go. A short walk from the luxury hotels close to Mallory Square.
