We just moved from Philly to Michigan and miss the Classic so much! Excellent food and wait staff is wonderful. Not some cheap diner food; this is exceptional! Wish the place were bigger and wish the parking lot was too. But mos def worth the wait. I wish we had the Classic here in Michigan!

This was my first visit and I loved it. The food was hanging off of my plate and it was delicious. I had the sweetest waitress, Stacey. She was so happy and helpful with my choice of breakfast. My experience was one of joy. Thank you

We commute from New York about once a month and we can't get enough of the awesome food, service and especially Kasey! She's constantly attentive, caring and goes out of her way to pay attention to our "bottomless coffee cups". Kasey recommended we try the peanut butter french toast with bananas for an appetizer. It was absolutley amazing!! What more could we ask for???

We can never imagine saying anything negative about the diner, except, for the constant nagging of one particular person, who we can only deem as the manager. This "negativity" certainly reflects upon the performance of your employees.

We really enjoy dining at your restaurant and hope to see more positive attitudes in the future.

This isn't really a diner by diner standards. They have all the standard diner breakfast foods, but everything is jazzed up in an upscale dining fashion and plated like an upscale restaurant would.

To get an idea of how busy they get - just know that they have pagers to buzz you when your table is ready - and when I went on Sunday morning, I had to wait for a pager. The wait wasn't too bad, though - about 25 minutes.

Once seated, I found the service a little off, but I do realize that it was very busy in there. The thing that irritated me most was the "drive-by" coffee refills, where they didn't really pause to pour carefully and would nearly splash me every time.

The food was great. I had the Peanut Butter & Banana French Toast. This dish could have used a little less peanut butter (this coming from a PB junkie) because it was a little overwhelming, but it was beautifully plated and overall delicious. My dining partner had the Turkey Pepper Hash, which looked delicious, but I didn't try it. The scrapple here is awesome and a generous portion for the typical price of a side of scrapple.

I LOVE the classic diner! It is about 30 minutes from where I live, but I go about twice a month. The coffee is AMAZING, the bacon AMAZING, and I can't say enough about the french toasts...

To start with, this is not a diner in any way. The food at breakfast is more like a good NY hotel resturant. The selection is larger than the Four Seasons Hotel, the food is comprible and the prices are a LITTLE lower. Their eggs Benedict are as good as it gets. Real hollandaise with some of the best Canadian bacon I have tasted. It can also be had with very high quality lump crabmeat or very nice lobster tail.

If you like large portions, then Classic is the place for you. The secret is out and standing in line is standard, but the food is worth it. The tasty coffee is always flowing. And the all-in-black wait staff is usually pleasant. Did I mention the large portions?
