Well, I just ate at what was called the Vintage Cafe, now called THE SPOT. I guess the current owners have been running the place for 6months and had to change the name, but the breakfast was really good. I had the french bread pudding toast which was just a delight. It was layers of french bread pudding with fresh whip cream, strawberry puree and fresh strawberries. Quite a treat for breakfast and I though very original. I told the owner that this would make them big. My husband had the back de bayou, which the gravy was yummy. The chef has it going on.

I highly recommend this place. It might be hard to find, but look for the only restaurnat/business in sight and than you can't miss it. There are a few tables out front. Here is the number. 626-296-3320 2032 n. lincoln avenue pasadena, ca 91103

I had a great breakfast at th Vintage cafe. I was surprised at how much i liked the coffee, considering I am a huge starbucks fan. The rstaurant serves great omelettes. I had a meat lovers with andouille sausage and the best breakfast sausage ever. The place is in the middle of nowhere. I guess the area is a target for redevelopment. The restaurant is relatively unknown, but I have a feeling it won't stay like that forever. My friend had the shrimp cakes and eggs, which was like an eggs benedict, with an awesome creole sauce to top. The breakfast gravy rocks. Best I have ever had. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.
