I'm a big truck stop fan but this place was disappointing especially after all the hype. Good service and large portions but all the food was obviously supplied from the low end of Sysco or someplace. Mashed "potatoes" were the flakes and not fresh and the "potato" salad was obviously store-bought and spongy. Salad was out of a bag and a day or more past due. Cinnamon rolls were ok but nothing to write home about. IMO, doesn't live up to the hype.

Very fast and friendly service , best biscuit and gravy in town , reasonable price and good portion . Very good Cinnamon roll . Get there early because they could get very busy after 6 am .

They make the best biscuts & gravy in the country. We eat here on every trip. The staff is awesome as is the service. it seems like its always full, and fast. We also enjoy the free internet WI-FI. If you ask you can have your own pot of fresh coffee.

Who does not know Johnson corners!! It is the greatest place to eat. Good food, good service.
The waitresses are so friendly. Watch on weekends however, cause everyone loes it so much and it is busy!!

this place rocks but that may be because i used to be a server there, but hey the servers are sassy but not too sassy they are always there to offer a smile and a cup of coffe and a ear to listen to what ever someone has to say the c- rolls are great and the food is home made i know i have seen it cut and cooked no where can you get this kind of food anymore the only micro wave here is to warm your cinnamon roll. i love these girls.

If you EVER thought you liked chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy and if you're REALLY hungry for a huge cinnamon roll, this is your Valhalla. They're expanding, which I suppose is progress, and they've added commercial buildings nearby, but the breakfast quality hasn't changed since the first time I was there @ 25 years ago. The sassy waitresses, great food and local truck stop charm make this a "must do" if you're within an hour's drive! P.S. Don't plan on eating again for hours...
