We stopped in as we were passing by. I ordered the Eggs Sardu and it was excellent. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and had garlic cooked into them. They split the potatoes with fruit by request.

Overall, the food and service couldn't get any better. We showed up at 7:00 and they were immediately busy. That should tell you something right there. I'll remember this place and return whenever I'm through this area again.

Went to Katrina's with a group of 9... on a Sunday no less. They don't take reservations... but we called ahead anyway and they put our name on the list before we showed up. They went WAY out of their way to accommodate us. Service was outstanding, food was inventive, large, hot and really quite quick give how busy the place was. Service quality was a huge surprise cause we usually expect the worst with a large group.

Go out of your way for this place, you won't regret it.

This little restaurant, especially on a Sunday morning, is typically packed with happy and excited people either engaged in eating one of the best breakfasts of their lives, or waiting for a table, with the knowledge that they will not be disappointed. We ALWAYS go on Sunday, because Sunday is Hollandaise sauce day, which means e/Benedict or even better, Eggs Sardu, which uses spinach and artichokes instead of ham. Service is always friendly, and the coffee refilled as needed, always. The printed menu is large; then there is another menu on the wall with "specials". We've been customers here for many years now and recommend it heartily. Auburn is a bit of a drive, but in our view, it is simply the best food, with the nicest presentation, that you will find.
