Visited Fathers' Day 2006. Dutch-themed metropolitan restaurant chain specializing in breakfast foods, similar to IHOP in concept. Very good food at typical (slightly overpriced) chain-restaurant prices. Spouse and I each had the signature "pannekoeken," an eggy baked pancake. (You can get them with choices of toppings or items baked it.) Part of any proper Pannekoeken Huis experience should include hearing waitstaff announcing, loudly and cheerfully, "Pannekoeken!" any time they bring a pannekoeken to a table. I also recommend trying the mettwurst, a Dutch sausage. (Kudos that you can get a half-order.)

During our visit, waitress was very friendly and attentive. Slight downgrade on coffee refill rating, as it was the "easy-way-out" method of putting a thermos on the table. Place is child-friendly, with crayons/placemats to scribble on.

We have been, and remain, semi-regular customers of both the old and revived versions of this restaurant.
