Nitwit waitresses will bring new entrants coffee, and then, heads up asses, put pot back on warmer without seeing if already-seated customers need refills. Waitress 101 fail. Food actually not bad, but poached eggs have begun to have consistency of hockey pucks.

My wife and I come to the Cafe @ Fairlawn regularly.. food is always great, may take a little while to get your food, but well worth the wait for quality. The waitress on the weekend is great, Meg. Keeps it together by herself when it's super busy and she's a sweetheart. The staff will accommodate you and make you anything you want to eat without a problem. Although I think the family mother daughter arguments are completely unprofessional, I recommend the cafe to anyone!

The Cafe @ Fairlawn is an awesome place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. The kitchen staff will make you anything you want as long as they have the ingredients. Good quality fresh food. Carissa needs to go though cute sweet girl, can't waitress for anything her heads in the clouds. Everyday should be run like sunday!

I had a belgian waffle with fresh fruit, my mother had a sandwich.
The restaurant was packed, and the food came out in less than 15 minutes which I thought was impressive. The waitresses are beautiful and look like models. The food was delicious and presentation was pretty. I didn't hear anything drop/break. This was my first time going (after church) and I am going to make it my regular stop from now on!

Went there today for lunch time----daughter ordered tuna salad ---after lots of minutes the "waitress" came back to table and said they had NO TUNA at all in the restaurant ( even though it was the top listed item on the blackboard)and we were there before noon. Then daughter ordered breakfast instead . The "waitress" brought the breakfast ---eggs and chourico---with NO TOAST and NO HOMEFRIES at all !! None !! I asked her about it, she apologized and then , lots of minutes later, she brought the missing items ( I suspect they toasted the bread THEN instead of when she put the breakfast order in) In short, very very poor performance !!

I recently had lunch here. All I can say is...they need to hire better waitstaff. Our waitress had not a clue in the world. She asked us, after we sat there for 20 min, if she had taken our order or not (which she hadn't). She did the same thing to the people next to us, but asked them twice!! I don't think I have ever experienced such terrible service. It took forever for the tables to be cleaned. She seemed to walk around in a total fog. Luckily, the food was good.

long time customer of rest , dont know what happend recently , food is slower than ever , waitstaff is completly unorganized, restaurant overall seems disorganized , very lound , waitstaff seems high , half the kitchen staff looks drunk , too much family arguments , too many animals in there , tables stay dirty , went in on friday night heard nothing but owner and daughter yelling , only pays attention to regulars , food overpriced , employees are a bunch of kids , attire is rediculous, the only good thing was the decorations. millions of people in and out of kitchen , makes me wonder how clean restaurant really is.

good to very good food. service is problematic: young girls with little real experience; beware if you are in a hurry. but most waitresses are HOT! (specifically, service is not universally poor, just hit-or-miss) if you become a regular, play this fun game; see what percentage of visits you hear something smash in the kitchen!

the cafe at fairlawn is a very poor resteraunt, they have few waitress's who are actually good. half the time everyone who works there is on drugs or drunk. You can find the employee's smoking weed out back or down stairs. And to top it off they dont even pay there employee's legit, its all under the table. so you tell me how long until they close down.-jim oneill

The place is cozy, very much a family restaurant. What some may categorize as "slow service", I see more as letting the customer take their time to peruse the menu, chat with a friend over that first cup of coffee, and breathe for the weekend. No rush. The food was excellent. It was well-prepared, tasty, and well-presented. Special orders were not a problem. They offer great selections and specials that make a weekend breakfast enjoyable.

During our visit we were ignored after being given menu and cup of coffee. We had to call the waitress to take our order after 20 minutes. Once the order was placed it took another 15 minutes to be served. Was not asked if everything was ok, or if we wanted more coffee.
