i just love this cute place, i always stop by when i am in that area, it takes me back in time. the food was always good, my waitress was really friendly and fast. everybody loved waht they ordered. my favorite place in that area.

Just had a New Years Eve dinner, crab legs and ribeye steak, wow, I had no idea, that this place would serve such good food, I was really impressed, the service was great, I noticed that the manager went around to every table and asked how they were doing, she seemed to be on it. The server suggested that I try a Green River Milkshake / Float, OMG. This place is really cool.

It's a little obvious that it is the same person that left all the negatives at the bottom of this listing. This place is great. Ignore the negatives. Really, you need to try this place out. All you can eat prime rib....shrimp....what more can I say! And, it's good!

Stopped at That 50's Place , seen the highway signs, real neat place, place looks clean, food portions were good size and tasted very good, I liked the 50's music, not to loud but loud enough to enjoy the past. The server had worked there for over 5 years and said that business is really good, very refreshing to hear someone say something nice. The prices seemed very reasonable and they accept all credit cards. We'll be back

Drove from Chicago to St.louis and stopped at That 50's Place, what a cool place, wish we had a place like this in Chicago, the service was great, the food, wow, outstanding, I had a great pizza, thin crust, my husband had a one pound burger, you ought to see this thing, we will stop here every time we go to St.Louis.

Stopped in over the holidays, they really decorate nice for the Christmas season, the food is always good, service is really great, very little turn over, I like their daily specials. I will continue to be a loyal 50's customer.

Just had dinner tonight, they have a great seafood buffet on Fridays. We had a tremendous waitress, the atmosphere is really cool. It was very busy and yet the employees did not seemed rushed. The menu is all named after 50's events, pretty neat. We used to go to their old place and enjoyed their buffets there. I drive 20 miles each way twice a week to eat there. I just like the place.

I stopped in on June 29th, had a great breakfast, service was great, my coffee was filled before it was half empty, the music was a little loud for 8am, but, it was 50's music, I enjoyed some of the old songs, I have read some of the reviews, I am a otr driver, I listen all day long to the cb, this place gets great reviews on I-55, There is always 30-50 trucks in the lot when I am here, it seems like the locals support it as well, I have been coming here for 15 years or so, it used to be The Harvest Table, it was filthy back then, it is really clean now, they had a bunch of old hags waiting tables years ago, now, they have nice attractive servers. I do not know the owners, but,what they have done to this place in the last several years has all been good, they have several billboards on the highway, they must be doing something right, I enjoy the place, I'll be back and will tell others.

I am a local, I eat pretty much at all of the restaurants in Dwight, I looked at the reviews for That 50's Place and had to leave my comments, the place used to be a huge dump, it was dirty and nasty, the people that bought it 5 years ago have sunk a boat load of money into it and now it really does a nice business, I have had breakfast, lunch, dinner and I have had their pizza, I have never had a bad meal, my friends all eat there and never say anything bad, I will tell you as you read the rest of the reviews, keep in mind that some of the locals do not like successful people. I like the place.

LOL! Their hours changed again, they are not open 24 hrs on the weekends any more. Way to run a business into the ground. I guess it will be a matter of time before that Closed sign is up more than the Open sign and the For Sale sign is sitting out in front.

You're better off stopping at McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, or Arby's because it's cheaper and more nutritious.

Bat Guano is better for you than the food at this place!!!!!

Rule of thumb when dining out, always go into the bathroom first and check to see how clean it is.

If it's not (like at this restaurant) odds are the kitchen is in the same condition.

Just turn around and walk out. I did!

I got the "All you can eat" prime rib dinner (with salad and a baked potato and a Pepsi).

It took about 15 minutes for the waitress to bring my salad once I ordered (the place was not that busy for a Saturday night. There must have been about 10 customers total.) The salad was mostly lettuce, there was a 1/2 of a slice of tomato and a piece of onion and 2 crutons and maybe a tablespoon of french dressing on it. I asked for more dressing but never got it. It took anaother 20 to 25 minutes to my main meal to be served to me. The prime rib and potato arrived at my table warm.

The potato was somewhat hard and over cooked and kind of burnt on one side. It was served with one small container of butter. When I ordered, I asked for extra sour cream and butter for the potato. The waitress never brought it out to my table.

The piece of prime rib looked eatable, it was warm, but it's prime rib. I have to ask the waitress for horseradish, it took her a while to bring it out, at this time my meat was cold. I asked my waitress for another piece and she brought it back to my table about 15 minutes later.

I left no tip, as I felt that my waitress, a short skinny blond that seemed to be, preoccupied with flirting with one of the cooks all of the time.

Food: would have been better if the waitress did her JOB.
Service: extremely poor!
Price: I've spent less on better.

I doubt I'll ever stop here again to eat.

Ordered a pizza and it was gross,service definitley not overly friendly,might get up enough nerve to try breakfast but it will be a while after that thing they called pizza .

I am an employee of That 50's Place and I find it sad that a jealous person must tell lies, We have served the Dwight Fire Department chicken for two years with no complaints at all, they order every monthly meeting, Please get your facts straight, The restaurant is probably cleaner that your home, Go on the website and you decide, that50splacediner.com, The owners have more than doubled the business in three years, they must really be bad people, Keep your jealous opinions to yourself. A very happy employee.
