The owners are nice, but--and I don't say this to be cruel--they're probably twenty years past a reasonable retirement date. Penny had to sit down while taking our order, and it was just awful watching her carry a cup of coffee. A very nice woman, but she needed to lean on the wall just to make it to the table. The problem with paying $5 for a sandwich and fries is that the owners have to pay for rent, ingredients, etc. You end up with a few slices of turkey on white bread and maybe a scoop of mashed potatoes. I'd rather spend $10 and not see the bottom of the plate.

As Right Spot Restaurant is run only by Gus & Penny, one has to be a little more resourceful when awaiting a coffee refill. However, having said such, the food is delicious, the price is the best around, and Gus & Penny have a well-earned reputation of being the best diner around. Try the homefries, the pancakes, the omelets, or anything on the menu for that matter, for it is all wonderful.
