As a 73 year resident of Lakeside, I have to say this is the best restaurant we have EVER had here. The Food is with out equal, for prices that are so very reasonable, and the portions - watch out - everyone leaves "stuffed." Thank you for blessing our community with such a fine experience. dlb

The food and service at the Cafe 76 are outstanding. They serve both Breakfast and Lunch. The menu is extensive. The portions are big with regular as well as light and healthy selections.

Group room available. We had a group of 43 people. My coffee cup never got below half full.

They have 4 styles of breakfast potatoes, but try the Monterey Potato Cakes for a great change.

A little slice of heaven in Lakeside. They grind their own coffee beans and present you with a cobalt blue thermos so that your cup is never empty.

Eggs are done just to your liking, potatoes are golden brown, portions are generous, and ingredients are fresh. The menu is varied enough to please most palates.

The service is competent, friendly, and professional.

This 50's type diner is the best of its kind in this area. If you happen to drop by for lunch, try the chicken salad sandwich. It's to die for.

THIS COOL CAFE TAKES YOU BACK TO THE 50'S!! GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE, HOT ROD AND MOTION PICTURE DECOR. QUALITY FOOD, CHEAP PRICES WITH HUGE PORTIONS. I MEAN REALLY HUGE! OPEN FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ONLY. FUN CASUAL DINING SPOT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
