Man oh man, has Stella's driven the local folks wild. Only because we were getting in very early in the morning a day ago was my wife able to see what all the excitement was about. She has a booth at a flea market nearby and can't take the time to stand in line on Sundays though the restaurant is quite spacious.

Not too hard to see why it is a very busy place. The breakfast selection is very large with low prices and great waitresses.

So why the "very good" rating instead of "awesome?"

Well, gosh, umm, ahh, the coffee is - well - atrocious. I don't really understand that. Happens in the best places but it was weaker than the 90 lb. weakling that always had the bad guy kicking sand in his face. Personal preference, of course.

My wife's omelet was a bit overdone and could have used a bit more spice. Hot sauce provided on the table helped a lot.

Superb restaurant despite the quibbles but there is another restaurant nearby that also does a bang up job on Sundays particularly. Apparently this transitional area is a great place to get breakfast.

Stella's is surely not the worst in any crowd. I recommend it highly despite the qualifications.

Great breakfasts especially the omelets and Italian toast. It's very busy and popular so be prepared to wait (it's worth it) or come early. Good lunches too.
