I do a lot of traveling so when I get the chance,I would go there for breakfast. And depending on the mood of the cook and how busy they were, depended on how thoroughly cooked the food was. I don't care for the egg white to be runny, hashbrowns oily white or if I have Hamburger steak...it to be rare and burnt on the outside. It's happened more than once. Service is friendly but slightly below average...I'm lucky to get a 3rd cup of coffee. The Good news...they still get my business. Their lunch and dinner menu was a little high priced so I don't there, I go elsewhere.

Pulled in here on a Sunday morning because of the large number of local vehicles parked there. Great experience - will go back every time thru. True "Alaska style" sourdough pancakes (appear made per the Alaska Home Extension Service recipe - they are akin in thickness to Swedish pancakes, you can actually taste the "sour" unlike most - mahhhvelous!!); real angus chicken fried steak - two styles of breakfast spuds. Hearty portions going past our table as we ate. Everybody from cowboys to business/professional people there that morning.
