Venus is my favorite breakfast restaurant in Berkeley. The Lemon Ricotta hotcakes are delicious and served with ample maple syrup and dipping sauces. Scrambles and omelettes, both simple and unique are readily available. And the servers always do their best to keep you happy. The atmosphere is funky and feels very Berkeley. Enjoy!

The food is worth the prices, which are not more than $10 for any main dish. Service is less than welcoming unless you're a regular.

After all the hype, i was not that impressed. The portions were small, and my server was putting all her slack on another server. It made me wish the line was shorter at La Note.
